Get leads to pay you instead"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Every business prefers getting paid by customers over spending time and money on leads that don&#8217;t convert.<\/p>\n<p>The problem however is this:<\/p>\n<p>Before you can start selling, you have to pay for marketing to get you leads first.<\/p>\n<p>But not anymore.<\/p>\n<p>You can now get paid to get leads.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Get paid to get leads<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2781\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kolbeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/wuuut.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"256\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Yes.<\/p>\n<p>You can get MONEY for getting qualified people in your pipeline.<\/p>\n<p>And these people will actually PAY YOU to be there.<\/p>\n<p>This is nice because:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You make your ad spend back RIGHT AWAY (and some more)<\/li>\n<li>Your up-sell will go WAY smoother<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>How this works, is what I&#8217;ll explain in this blog post.<\/p>\n<h2>But wait, you have to &#8220;date&#8221; people before they will buy, right?<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2787\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kolbeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/the-office-dwight-false.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"324\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Well, it&#8217;s not false actually.<\/p>\n<p>But it&#8217;s not the way I&#8217;ve taught you <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kolbeek.com\/book\/\">in my book<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s still true is this:<\/p>\n<p>People need to trust you before they pay you a lot of money.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>People need to trust you before they pay you lot of money.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">So the strategy doesn&#8217;t change.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The tactic does.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Strategies don&#8217;t change. Tactics do.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The strategy is: Build trust.<\/p>\n<p>The tactic was:\u00a0 Give away a free lead magnet and then follow up to see if they want to buy something.<\/p>\n<p><strong>But today, I&#8217;m changing my mind.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I mean, this process STILL works fine. If you do it right, it&#8217;s definitely going to be profitable and make your business grow.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2775\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kolbeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/EN-5-steps-to-a-healthy-sales-funnel-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"620\" height=\"465\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.kolbeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/EN-5-steps-to-a-healthy-sales-funnel-1.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.kolbeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/EN-5-steps-to-a-healthy-sales-funnel-1-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/www.kolbeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/EN-5-steps-to-a-healthy-sales-funnel-1-768x576.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>But there&#8217;s ONE BIG DOWNSIDE to this process&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>And it&#8217;s this:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>YOU&#8217;RE PAYING FOR LEADS THAT WILL NEVER BUY.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And even still, this process is profitable just because you earn back your money multiple times through steps #3, #4 and #5 from people who DO become customers.<\/p>\n<p>BUT&#8230; W<span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">ouldn&#8217;t it be nice to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Get paid instead of giving free help?<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Get qualified customers eager to buy MORE from you?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2790\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kolbeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/money-cellphone.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"332\" height=\"332\" \/><\/p>\n<p>That WOULD BE nice!<\/p>\n<p>And I&#8217;m telling you: It&#8217;s possible.<\/p>\n<p>And I&#8217;m gonna teach you how to do it:<\/p>\n<h2>One tweak to start making money from your leads<\/h2>\n<p>The tweak you have to make is really quite simple.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Go straight to selling your intro offer to people in need.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>Before<\/h3>\n<p>So before you would market like this:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Run ads to people offering them your free e-book\/pdf\/online course (<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">costs money<\/span>)<\/li>\n<li>Follow up with them and offer them your introduction product (<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">costs time<\/span>)<\/li>\n<li>Make some sales (<span style=\"color: #008000;\">makes money<\/span>)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>After<\/h3>\n<p>Now, your marketing looks like this:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Run ads to people offering them your introduction product (<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">costs money<\/span>)<\/li>\n<li>Only make sales (<span style=\"color: #008000;\">makes money<\/span>)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>In the before scenario you&#8217;re usually LOSING money or just breaking even.<\/p>\n<p>In the after scenario you&#8217;ll be breaking even OR already making a profit right from the start.<\/p>\n<h2>Here&#8217;s how to make people buy STRAIGHT from your ad<\/h2>\n<p>Of course, first&#8230; You have to have THE FOUNDATIONS right. But you know that, because you&#8217;ve read <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kolbeek.com\/book\/\">my book<\/a>. Right?<\/p>\n<p>So then you know you must:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Write compelling copy<\/li>\n<li>Target the right audience<\/li>\n<li>Track the right numbers<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2793\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kolbeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/EN-3-steps-to-a-profitable-ad.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"620\" height=\"465\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.kolbeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/EN-3-steps-to-a-profitable-ad.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.kolbeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/EN-3-steps-to-a-profitable-ad-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/www.kolbeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/EN-3-steps-to-a-profitable-ad-768x576.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>But here&#8217;s the 1 thing that&#8217;s not in the book that will MAKE OR BREAK this ad:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your offer should trigger an IMPULSE BUY<\/li>\n<li>And your offer should promise a TANGIBLE result<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p>Your offer should feel like they are STEALING from you<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>How to make them impulse buy?<\/h3>\n<p>By nailing your offer.<\/p>\n<p>And you offer has these 2 components:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Price<\/li>\n<li>Promise<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>So in order to impulse buy, people need to see a promise they want with a price that feels like a steal.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>People need to see a promise they want for a price that feels like a steal<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>How much $ should I charge?<\/h3>\n<p>What that $ number is, depends on your audience&#8217;s budget and the problem you solve.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re marketing B2C to poor people promising to solve a simple problem, your <em>&#8220;impulse price limit&#8221;<\/em> might be only $7<\/p>\n<p>If however, you&#8217;re marketing to a more affluent B2C audience promising to solve a complex problem like credit repair, your <em>&#8220;impulse price limit&#8221; <\/em>might be $70.<\/p>\n<p>If your audience is a corporate business, they might <em>&#8220;impulse buy&#8221;\u00a0<\/em>for $500.<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s important is that the person seeing your ad DOESN&#8217;T HAVE TO SPEAK TO A SUPERIOR to buy right then and there.<\/p>\n<p>Whether that superior is your manager or your wife\ud83d\ude04<\/p>\n<h3>What do I promise in my ad?<\/h3>\n<p>This is even more important than the low price.<\/p>\n<p>Promising (and delivering!) a very specific and TANGIBLE result will not only generate more sales&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>It will also be the best lead qualifier for your main product or service ever!<\/p>\n<p>Much better than any free lead magnet can do for you.<\/p>\n<p>Look, here&#8217;s the thing, right:<\/p>\n<p>People have problems.<\/p>\n<p>And they want them fixed.<\/p>\n<p>If you promise you can help them fix 1 tiny problem for only a couple of bucks&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>And you ACTUALLY deliver on that promise&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>People are going to LOVE you for it.<\/p>\n<p>Now pay attention here: Your tiny problem is your lead qualifier.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Your tiny problem is your lead qualifier<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>So make sure to pick a problem that if people have this, they are very likely to also have this bigger problem.<\/p>\n<p>The big problem is what you solve with you main product or service.<\/p>\n<h4>Examples (B2C and B2B)<\/h4>\n<p>So a plumber might do a complete renovation of the piping in an old house.<\/p>\n<p>But a leaking faucet in the bathroom might be his indicator that this house may also have the BIG problem.<\/p>\n<p>So he offers to fix faucets for $20 first. Only to then offer his BIG service for $2000.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not a plumber so I don&#8217;t know if these prices are correct, but you get what I&#8217;m saying.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tiny problem: leaking faucet.<\/li>\n<li>Tangible result: a faucet that works again.<\/li>\n<li>Low price: $20<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On the other end of the spectrum we have B2B environments. Let&#8217;s say you are an IT consultant and you help with Microsoft 365 implementations.<\/p>\n<p>You may have figured out that most organizations have a problem: They need expert help with the entire 365 suite.<\/p>\n<p>But that&#8217;s their BIG problem.<\/p>\n<p>What you also noticed is most of these organizations also have 1 smaller problem:<\/p>\n<p>They can&#8217;t seem to get video conferencing in Teams to work. Everyone is complaining about it.<\/p>\n<p>You can quite easily solve this with a half-day intervention where you workshop this out.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s say you charge $400 and totally fix their set-up relieving them from all their issues.<\/p>\n<p>Chances are, this company is a lot more open to hearing about your $12.000 Office 365 implementation project now that you&#8217;ve helped them fix this OBVIOUS issue everyone was complaining about.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s hard to sell 12K projects to a cold lead.<\/p>\n<p>But it&#8217;s WAY easier to sell it to an existing client.<\/p>\n<p>Especially an existing client that&#8217;s HAPPY and TRUSTS you because you actually delivered on your promise already.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tiny problem: issues with video conferencing<\/li>\n<li>Tangible result: flawless video conferencing set-up for everyone in the organization<\/li>\n<li>Low price: $400<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>This works for any business (small or large)<\/h2>\n<p>The only thing that changes is the numbers.<\/p>\n<p>But the strategy works the same.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s very simple:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2796\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kolbeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/EN-3-steps-to-getting-leads-to-pay-you.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"620\" height=\"465\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.kolbeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/EN-3-steps-to-getting-leads-to-pay-you.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.kolbeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/EN-3-steps-to-getting-leads-to-pay-you-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/www.kolbeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/EN-3-steps-to-getting-leads-to-pay-you-768x576.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>It&#8217;s not easy to define a tangible solution for a specific problem<\/h2>\n<p>The hardest part of this formula for most businesses is this:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Defining a <strong>tangible result<\/strong> for a <strong>specific problem<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>People will NOT impulse buy if your offer isn&#8217;t specific or tangible enough.<\/p>\n<h3>[examples] Bad &#8211; not specific &#8211; offers<\/h3>\n<p>Here&#8217;s some examples of bad offers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A complete check-up on your plumbing!<\/li>\n<li>Get a free credit score report<\/li>\n<li>Learn 5 movements for a pain free life!<\/li>\n<li>Get a plan to fix your entire digital marketing<\/li>\n<li>Workshop to learn how to use Microsoft 365<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>[examples] Good &#8211; specific &#8211; offers<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Get your 3 highest risk plumbing priorities report<\/li>\n<li>Get 3 credit score fixes that increase your chance of getting a mortgage by 92%<\/li>\n<li>Learn the 5 Excercises to end your elbow pain and start playing tennis again!<\/li>\n<li>Get a proven 3-step plan to improve your Facebook Ads ROI<\/li>\n<li>Set-up video conferencing in Teams for your organization in just 2 hours!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Alright then!<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s it for me today.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks for reading so far.<\/p>\n<p>Use it to your advantage!<\/p>\n<p>Valeu! \ud83e\udd19\ud83c\udffb<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Every business prefers getting paid by customers over spending time and money on leads that don&#8217;t convert.
